Set
Screw Mounting 

- Make sure the support for
the bearing unit is rigid and the surface where the unit is going to be
mounted is clean and flat
- Make sure that the end of
the set screw is not protruding into the bore of the bearing insert.
- Make sure that the end of
the shaft is free of any burrs.
- Insert the shaft into the
bore of the bearing. (Fig. 1)

- Do not strike the seal or
subject the unit to any shock loads.
- Mount the housing using
the appropriate bolts
- Insert a wrench securely
into the hole of the set screw, and tighten the two screws uniformly.
